A place for me to vent: 31 MONTH TSW

We had a long day. Diego slept through the night.
I woke up at 630 am and thought wow Diego slept through the night and slept hard. I prayed and told  God how grateful I am for this rest. 
This right cheek has been a slow burner but we are still living life. I have to say I'm glad when we do "normal" things and wear a mask this part is covered and protected. Time for bed. Have a final to study for. Hope this blog helps others going through this and give hope

Cut nails every other day Scrub nails in the morning with small nail scrubber Vacuum every day. Mainly his bedroom and other rooms most of the time. Wash bedsheets and pillows in high heat. Dry in high heat. Everyday. (we've been through two washers and two dryers last two years)  Ordered four pairs of Scratch Me Not sleeves. Washed daily high heat and high heat dryer. Diego sleeves were soaked through out the night so I had extra to change them out quickly after a scratch session. He only wore these at night in bed. Mini Flare

 Diego has been doing well all over compared to where we were in 2018. He is now in third grade getting straight As. He is has made good friendships in school and outside of school. He is going outside running, and playing in the hot Florida sun all day. We are back to our trips to the beach.  I have noticed he has finally started sweating. So interesting the body. While he was getting better around 2021 going to Crossfit Kids. He would get hot but no sweat. Last week after playing outside all day he came in for a water break and he was sweating around his face and hair.  November 2023 after Thanksgiving he was having his asthma flare.  It got so bad no matter what meds we threw at him it wasn't cutting it. I took him to the ER and got the normal three albuterol treatments and oral steroids. From August 2023 till the end of November 2023, he was off his flovent. 10 MONTHS TSW: February 8, 2019

10 MONTHS TSW 3 WEEKS AFTER PREDNISOLONE DOSE 1ST DOSE OF 2019 This picture popped up on my album. January 10/11, 2019 Not sure the date we took Diego to the ER for the first time that year. I don't feel like explaining the whole situation at the moment. He ended up taking prednisolone and w head to finish a course at home. I remember crying when they presented the treatment to us and Diego just didn't seem to get better. I looked at my husband and I know we were both saddened but breathing trumps everything. So his skin did get a bit better and all the moms told me to enjoy this "honeymoon" phase because it won't last long. It didn't. I think around this week he would scratch his arms hard and intermittently throughout the day. I was frustrated. TSW skin started where we left off. Then just got worse
